Have you ever been in a fairy tale? If you have not, then you have the opportunity to get there, and if you think that you have, then you just do not yet know what a real fairy tale is. A real fairy tale lives in the Netherlands, and opens up to the world of people for a short while, but every year. This tale is Keukenhof Park.

Keukenhof Park is located very close to Amsterdam. The Dutch themselves proudly call it a place where one should come even to those who have seen everything in this world and managed to get fed up with everything - this park will charm and delight even them! Indeed, this is one of the most amazing places on our planet. Firstly, this is perhaps the only park in the world that is open only two months a year; it receives visitors only from March 20 to May 20. At this time, annually more than two million people from all over the world come to enjoy the indescribable beauty of this place. Secondly, on its 32 hectares, more than seven million bulbous flowers are lovingly planted by hand by its employees every spring. Thirdly, the Keukenhof Park is the world leader in the number of objects photographed on its territory.

The history of the appearance of this miracle dates back to the 15th century and is associated with the name of the Dutch countess, Osaka van Bayern, who, in order to constantly have fresh herbs in her kitchen, ordered to lay out a garden near her castle. Keukenhof means "kitchen garden" in translation. Today, the Keukenhof Natural Park is a national treasure of the Netherlands and an acknowledged tulip paradise. The Keukenhof Garden is the pride of the Royal House of the Netherlands and is under the patronage of the Royal Family. The flowering season is opened every year by a personage from the royals of Europe. Despite such "crowned", Keukenhof is not at all arrogant and happily opens up his beauty to all connoisseurs of beauty.

Walking along its paths in abundance, the public is motley, multilingual and diverse in their social status. Here you can ride a bike - the total length of the park's paths exceeds 50 kilometers. You can just walk in the park with your favorite dog, they are also allowed to smell the flowers. You can ride a stroller along the park alleys with your baby. It is interesting that with such a crowd of people in the park it is very quiet, maybe visitors are really mesmerized by such unearthly beauty, but for some reason everyone here speaks in a low voice. Park employees note another interesting phenomenon - there have been practically no cases of anyone trying to pick a flower or damage a flower garden. In truth, beauty is a great power!

Keukenhof is an English-style park. And although visitors have a feeling of complete naturalness, of course, all its elements: the shape of ponds, flower beds, paths of paths and even the slope of trees - everything is thought out in the most careful way, designed, created and maintained in this order by the painstaking work of a whole team of specialists: garden architects and landscape designers.

There are a lot of flower beds in the park, mainly tulips. Each flowerbed contains different varieties of tulips in picturesque compositions with hyacinths, daffodils or other flowers. Each such flower garden is a unique fusion of beauty born of nature, skill and kindness of human hands and the fire of the human heart! The splendor of the flower rows is lavishly complemented by a riot of cherry and apple trees in bloom. The air is dominated by an unthinkable suite of floral aromas, it seems that this air can be drunk like thick wine!

The entire park is permeated with small canals, along which white swans swim in a royal calm and graceful way. Another interesting find of Keukenhof is floating flower beds. The beauty of the flowers reflected in the clear waters of the canals is a fantastic sight! Here everything merges into a single picture of the very perfection of the color of the sky, water, tulips, grass. A huge living, trembling, breathing canvas, created annually in a single burst of inspiration by people and nature, God himself, for sure, admires this masterpiece!

There are always seven thematic expositions in the park, which change every year, but have a common name - "Gardens of Inspiration". In essence, these are master classes from leading professionals available to all visitors. Cut flower exhibitions and breeder competitions are also held here. Small pavilions are scattered here and there throughout the park, where you can buy fresh flowers, seedlings and bulbs. There are also greenhouses with indoor plants and orchid collections on the Keukenhof territory.

Keukenhof has another sweet tradition - every year the most romantic men from around the world bring their chosen ones here to open their hearts to them. Probably among such beauty to say "No!" simply impossible!
