The famous Dutch exhibition of plant growers Plantarium, traditionally held in October, nevertheless always turns to the new season and now, in anticipation of spring, its results are most relevant. As in the previous year, the exhibition was merged with the Groen Direct trading platform. The motto of the Plantarium-2016 exhibition can be literally translated as "Show it!" and more and more the exhibition itself resembles a show.

Within the framework of the exhibition, there are always competitions for the best novelty and the best idea. 130 applications were submitted for the competition of novelties, of which 126 were eventually accepted and evaluated by a professional jury. Introducing the winners of this competition.

Astilbe hybrid "Mighty Chocolate Cherry " ("Cherry in chocolate") - a new, truly outstanding addition to the variety of astilbe, which has bright, large velvety pink-red inflorescences and dark red, almost burgundy stems. The leaves also have an unusual chocolate red color that changes to dark green when the plant is in full bloom. The plant reaches a height of 100-110 cm, blooms in June and July.

Large-leaved hydrangea "Curly® Sparkle" is presented in two colors, red and dark blue, almost purple, in autumn it changes the shades of the presented colors. The flowers are very strong and have a truly unique curly shape that is highly appreciated by professionals and buyers. Besides being used as a garden plant, it is very suitable for terraces and patios in containers.

Phlox with the title “On & On! White "(" On & On! White ") is an interspecific hybrid that surpasses all other varieties of phlox on the market in terms of its qualities. The plants form an attractive slide with white flowers that have delicate, fuchsia-colored central spots. This action is a winter-hardy plant, and such short stature makes it very suitable for use as an almost ground cover plant.

Hydrangea panicle " Rencolor " ("Pastelgreen") is a truly innovative addition to existing panicle hydrangeas, very dense and vertically oriented. Slightly rounded inflorescences consist of flowers with long pedicels 15-20 cm long. The petals change color in the summer, creating an attractive mix of raspberry pink, white, cream, pale green, pistachio and pale pink. All these shades successively replace each other, giving a special charm to the beautiful "panicles" - inflorescences that appear on the plant from mid-July to October.

The Korean clematis " Amber " fully lives up to its name - it is distinguished by lush bloom with beautiful yellow flowers with a pink tint in the upper part. Winter-hardy up to -25 ° C. The company is engaged in the import of many products, among which are special rattan baskets of various sizes, inside which there are already plastic pots. This product is produced in a factory in Indonesia and is environmentally friendly. The use of such baskets-pots is not only very convenient, but also beautiful.
