For the third time, the exhibition “Peace! Work! Harvest ". This year, 2017, it will work until October 15.

This exhibition is like a huge still life of nature's autumn gifts. Flowers and fruits are intricately mixed here thanks to the imagination of the designers. You open the greenhouse door and you immediately plunge into the bright colors of autumn. Pumpkins, watermelons, melons, zucchini, eggplants, purple potatoes, beans, beets, onions, peppers, cauliflower, apples, hazelnuts, rowan berries, cranberries, lingonberries, herbs, wheat, rye - all this literally dazzles with its wealth.

Vegetables set off a variety of flowers - chrysanthemums, zantedeschia, chebe, nightshade, turmeric, heathers of various colors, as well as pot compositions of green vegetables - a kind of decorative mini-vegetable gardens.

Most of the exposition is made up of pumpkins - domestic varieties and rare foreign ones. Their coquettish ball is ruled by a fat woman weighing over 400 kg. She was put on a crown, because she is the largest pumpkin grown in our country, entered the Russian Book of Records. The wonderful pumpkin of the Atlantic Giant variety was raised by a 21-year-old psychologist Alexander Chusov from Moscow and decided to demonstrate it at an exhibition in this oldest and most beloved botanical garden.

This year's exhibition is distinguished by a variety of exotic cucumbers - furry and prickly, but quite edible. However, here each exhibit is somewhat exotic.

We bring to your attention a photo report from the exhibition. And let him convince you that it is worth hurrying up to be in time to visit her. Believe me, it will become your favorite autumn event, and every year you will strive here again and again.
