The VIII Moscow International Festival of Gardens and Flowers "Moscow Flower Show" was held from 10 to 21 July 2019 in Moscow, in the MUZEON Art Park.

This festival is always a riot of bright colors, dozens of designer gardens and unique flower arrangements. Over 30,000 flowers and plants were used to create the landscapes of the Festival.

Since 2019 has been declared the year of theater in our country, the theme of the show was determined by itself - "Theater".

"Secrets of Temptation" is the famous book by Vyacheslav Zaitsev. In honor of the year of theater announced in Russia in 2019, Greenhans offers to enjoy a unique show. The exhibition garden is hidden inside a pavilion made using YokiSugi technology. The space solution is based on three fundamental components: hard coatings (hard), vegetable filling (soft) and water component (wet). Burnt wood, black dumping, contrasting with the flashes of white birch trunks, are buried in silence … Silence, into which bewitching music constantly flows. Captivating the viewer with incredible phantasmoric images.

Russia, Our Mother, loves to take a walk! So we walked around with a talented designer, couturier Igor Gulyav. We were inspired to create the garden by his new collection of clothes - bright, non-standard, provocative.

Walk a garden - a garden that lives up to its name. We did not stay within the boundaries of standard solutions, and gave ourselves the opportunity to misbehave by including the park path in the garden space. Passing by, you already feel like a star of the podium. The structure of the garden, like the Russian soul, is wide and mysterious. It is a pleasure to walk on it! An unusual combination of shapes and bright colors gives an emotional charge, and light accents excite the imagination. Hooligan with us! Become a clear part of the garden!

"The less" by Alena Akhmadullina (Gold Medal)

The name "The less" is a play on words: on the one hand, it is consonant with the Russian word "forest", on the other, it reflects the current concept of minimalism in deciding the composition and choosing plants.

In keeping with the DNA of Alena Akhmadullina, a very Russian tree was chosen as the basis of the composition - birch, used in a chaotic planting. The birch grove is complemented by the crisp graphics of coniferous bushes, reminiscent of fabulous moss, and glossy paving stones, which create an imitation of wood covering, through which plants make their way. As conceived by the designers, the color combination of graphic black and white trunks, terracotta wood, and sharp sedge peaks creates an unusual sense of space: on the one hand, a natural environment, on the other - fabulous. The layout of the garden is made in the form of biscuits, which can be easily transformed depending on the filling material: cereals, water, modules with birches. This simplicity and naturalness, combined with the possibility of transformation, is a reflection of the modern world.

This garden is a theater made in the language of nature, named in honor of the famous performance and as a symbol of the fruits of her work, my dedication to the director and artistic director of the theater Galina Borisovna Volchek. The color of each parterre and each corner of the garden corresponds to the lighting solution of the scenography of the famous performances of Galina Volchek. You will have the opportunity to go to the Garden Theater and, at least not much, feel like the protagonists of the favorite works of the brilliant director!

In this fantastic space, wild nature and technogenic civilization penetrated each other and formed a symbiosis of the living and the cybernetic. The new ecological niche was filled with animals with a technotronic endoskeleton and revived mechanisms that have become a home for plants. In the "Symbiosis" garden, the juxtaposition of two different worlds is expressed by a mixture of modern and landscape styles.

From the earliest childhood, our parents and grandparents introduce us to Russian folk tales. Then, having already become parents, we are already retelling our children fairy tales about kindness, peace, Russian history and culture. The garden "Once upon a time" based on the fairy tale "Geese-Swans" takes the viewer into a fairy-tale forest, invites the main characters to walk along the path, get acquainted with the Russian stove, a fruitful apple tree, and taste the wild berries filled with the sun. The trail is buried in a dense forest, looking where, perhaps, you will meet Baba Yaga and a hut on chicken legs.

We invite you to the garden, bathed in the warm southern sun and filled with the free Cossack spirit. When creating the garden, the original scenery of the film "Quiet Don" by Sergei Ursulyak was used, carefully preserved in an open-air museum on the banks of the Don in the Starozolotovsky farm in the Rostov region. A laid table and a hospitable Cossack hostess, who always has a samovar ready, awaits at the wattle fence. On the table is the traditional Cossack dishes, created by the artists of the Don folk craft - Semikorakor ceramics. Feel the Don hospitality!

The idea of ​​the garden is based on the famous stop “Zharptitsa” of one of the very first performances of “Russian Seasons” by Sergei Diaghilev. In 1910, it brought together representatives of various types of art in Russia and abroad: music, theater, opera, painting, and is associated with famous names: Igor Stravinsky, Marc Chagall, Alexander Benois. The Exhibition Garden is a search for Russian identity with all of the world culture. Therefore, Russian braids, woven from field grasses, are a reflection of the past, ephemeral. The braids symbolize the tail of the firebird, which itself disappeared, leaving only a magic feather in the garden plan.

Three symbolic backstage arches represent the triumphal path of the Russian theater. It began with a simple wooden platform in the fairground. The flourishing of the theater is shown as an intricately arranged, slightly pompous academic stage. And again the theater goes out onto the street to the viewer - through the avant-garde space with a performance of small architectural forms.
