Colors Of The Garden

The magic of the garden lies not only in its beauty, but also in the variability of its appearance, in the change of pictures, impressions and associations, which depend not only on the weather, time of day or season, but also on the inner state of the observer. It is not surprising that on a clear sunny day, the garden seems joyful, full of vitality. The combination of green foliage with bright colors of garden flowers, lush grass on the lawns flooded with streams of the sun can drive away sad thoughts and instill in a person the most optimistic hopes. And, conversely, on a cloudy cold day, when a heavy sky hangs over the tops of the trees, reflected by a gray veil in the mirror of the pond, everything around becomes sad.

A garden dominated by yellow-orange colors will remind you of the sun and warmth even on the most cloudy day. Bright flower beds, mixborders, ridges made up of a combination of perennial and annual plants with flowers of various warm colors, ornamental trees and shrubs with variegated and golden foliage and needles are the main accents of the "sunny" garden. In such a garden, a sundial, arranged in an unusual way, will be very appropriate. The numbers on such clocks replace groups of yellow flowers planted in a circle. Varietal marigolds with a height of up to 20 cm are best suited. Garden furniture made of natural light-colored wood matches well the general mood of the garden.

The White Garden is exquisite, a little restrained, a little sad. This is a garden memory. It soothes and evokes melancholy. The combination of green and white, at first glance, may seem monotonous. But this is not so already because the assortment of plants is so extensive that in the color of their leaves and flowers you can find the most diverse shades of white with an admixture of salad, pink, cream.

The blue garden is like a fairyland. Coldish mystery, some mystery and even detachment - the predominant motive of such a garden. Unfortunately, in central Russia there are practically no woody plants with flowers of pure blue or blue tones. Perhaps, only the flowering of certain varieties of lilacs, rhododendrons and not quite winter-hardy buddleia can be called lilac-purple, but not blue. Thus, the appearance of a blue garden is formed by flower beds, which must be thought out very carefully. An excess of blue-violet can create a gloomy impression. Therefore, it is advisable to "dilute" the cold scale with white or gentle pastel tones.

The rose garden has a completely different mood. The serenity of pink is close to children and lovers. In warm pink and crimson colors, it is cozy and homely calm. Perhaps the rose garden is not so exquisite, perhaps there is no mystery in it, but how much charming charm and tenderness! Such a garden creates an ideal setting for relaxing with your family, making you forget about the bustle of the city for a while.
