In addition, rotting grass can become a source of fungal infections. It is especially important to remove the mowed grass mass in rainy weather, preventing it from caking and compacting on the surface of the lawn.

It should be noted that you cannot leave a high herbage for the winter: the plants weaken during the winter, sometimes fall out, get sick and grow worse in spring. The grasses should “go into winter” at a height of 5-7 cm, which is ensured by the last shearing at the end of September. The first mowing in spring is also carried out when the plants have reached a height of 5-7 cm.
