Literally a few hundred meters from the Eiffel Tower, we managed to see a real jungle behind glass, to get into an amazing garden capable of evoking strong sensations and emotions. In the summer of 2006, in the presence of President Jacques Chirac and UN Secretary General Kofi Anen, the grand opening of the museum building took place. Surely many have seen a photo of the green facade of the Branly Museum, we had the opportunity to see everything up close. This year was reconstructed, because after difficult weather conditions, some of the plants did not survive. The assortment of plants used was quite large: ground cover, heuchera, fuchsia and even plantain hosta. The greatest curiosity aroused the garden behind the glass. It amazes and delights how the authors managed to create the illusion of a jungle in a small area. With tropical plants, hills and lowlands, ponds, with high humidity, and birdsong (using polyphony). The garden has a certain magic, makes a strong impression on visitors, up to "goose bumps" on the skin. I would like to express my deep gratitude to its creators: Gilles Clement and architect Jean Nouvel, and wish our readers to get acquainted with the garden.

Park Butte Chaumont

Butte Chaumont is the third largest (23 hectares) and one of the most beautiful, romantic parks in Paris. Since Roman times, limestone has been mined and burned there. As a result, the hilly terrain has turned into unsightly catacombs. In 1867, it was decided to create a park on this place. A huge amount of work has been done to artificially create hills, cascades and waterfalls. As a result, we have a park, how talentedly imitates the real "wild" nature, that there is not even a shadow of doubt that this has always been the case here.

A large lake with an island and a rock looks picturesque, at the top of a rotunda imitating the "Temple of Seville" near Rome. Climbing into it, you can see the views of Paris and the Basilica, especially beautiful here at sunset. A water cascade that falls into a huge stalactite grotto is amazing. For the Parisians, this is a real "gem" located in the city. Therefore, especially on weekends, there are many families with children and friends who have picnics in nature.

Georges Brassens Park

The Georges Brassens Park was opened in 1984, on the site of the former Vaugirard slaughterhouses, a sculpture reminds of this - two bronze bulls at the entrance. The park is named in honor of the famous French poet, composer, bard Georges Brassens, who lived in the vicinity of the park.

Since the park is also located on the territory of former vineyards, there is a part of the area set aside for vineyards, and every year in October, according to tradition, a harvest festival is held. There is also an apiary in the park. More than 30,000 children were able to get acquainted with the "work" of honey bees, which are sold on the first Saturday in October. The park is known for its "Garden of Aromas" - a collection of aromatic medicinal plants and spices, and the Rose Garden, consisting of 510 bushes.

In the center of the park there is a bell tower surrounded by a large pond with a fountain, a playground with wooden houses and artificial rocks, and a variety of attractions. In the northern part of the park, there is a ravine in which a stream flows. Dense shade-loving vegetation creates the effect of a forest, and water - moisture. As a result, it is most pleasant, especially in the summer heat, in this part of the park. The famous antique book market is located next to the Georges Brassens park.

La Villette Park

Park La Villette - the largest park in Paris (area 55 hectares) - the project of Bernard Chumi. The solutions are based on the synthesis of the ideas of Suprematism and postmodernism. It is called the park of the 21st century, the avant-garde of architecture; the park was created from 1983 to 1989 on the site of a slaughterhouse and a livestock market. The park is located on the outskirts of Paris (in its northeastern part), it is crossed by two canals: Urc and Saint - Denis. The creators were given the task: to equip a space where not only entertainment and entertainment complexes, playgrounds would be located, but to create a city of technology, science, education and cultural development for a large number of people. And take into account the possibility of unforeseen transformations of the park in the future.

There are 10 themed gardens in the park: Garden of Balance, Garden of Mirrors, Garden of Winds and Dunes, Garden of Vines, Garden of Shadows, Garden of Islands, Dragon Garden, Garden of Fears of Children, Equilibrist Garden and Bamboo Garden. The pride of the park is the spherical cinema "Zheod" and the submarine "Argonaut", which "independently reached" its permanent "place of residence."

Floral Park

The Parc Floral (Parisian Garden of Flowers) was created in 1968 for the international flower exhibition in Paris by the landscape architect Collan. The park is located in the Vincennes Forest. Floral has a large collection of plants and, due to this, attracts a huge number of professionals and amateurs from all over the world. The park occupies a large area, so a special train runs to move around the park.

In the center of the park there is a large reservoir, an indoor concert venue, where various entertainment events are held, including for children. There are many rides for children. Beautiful pond with lotuses and water lilies. Pavilions with a collection of plants from various countries: Mexico, the Amazonian jungle, the Sahara desert, a Japanese garden. The park is literally filled with parents with children and fulfills the task of awakening in children an interest in studying nature.
