Not only the choice of flowers is important, but also the packaging of the bouquet. When choosing the packaging of the bouquet, make sure that it is not cumbersome and does not distract attention from the flowers themselves. The packaging is designed primarily for transporting flowers and protecting them from adverse weather conditions: wind, cold air, dust.

In most cases, it is customary to give a bouquet without packaging, but it is better to act on your own, keeping in mind some general points. It is better to give a bouquet of several flowers without cellophane wrapping, while a beautifully designed flower arrangement can be left in the form in which you bought it in a flower shop. But one should not mistake bows and ribbons fixed on cellophane packaging for a special artistic decoration! Remember that decorative elements always carry some meaning and make the bouquet meaningful.

Since the middle of the last century, bouquets in the Biedermeier style have been invariably popular in Europe, consisting of a large number of flowers with shortened stems, the heads of which are tightly pressed against each other. Moreover, the lower part of the bouquet is decorated with greenery, lace cuffs and satin ribbons. In bouquets of this style, decorative accessories play no less a role than the flowers themselves, so they should be presented without opening the package.

Modest bouquets of violets or lilies of the valley look great in a miniature wicker basket, but the thorns of roses in a bouquet must be cut off so as not to injure the delicate fingers of your beloved woman.

The most common cases when the packaging is not removed from the bouquets:

if flowers are handed on the street: at the airport, at the train station, etc.;

if the bouquet is given to those leaving at the time of parting;

at a play or at a concert, if flowers are presented at the curtain.
