How To Take Flowers Correctly

It is very important to be able not only to give flowers correctly, but also to receive a bouquet correctly. In order not to darken the mood of the giver with your awkward attitude towards hist, it is worth remembering a few simple rules of etiquette:

- when accepting the bouquet, do not forget to immediately thank the giver for it, say a few phrases about how you love flowers and how pleased you are to receive them, in no case giving up the bouquet and not saying something like “Well, why is this ? " or "God, they must be worth a fortune";

- after expressing your gratitude, the flowers should be unfolded (if necessary!) and placed in a vase of water; it is absolutely unacceptable to just put flowers aside;

- the presented bouquet must be in the room where the guests are received. If there are a lot of flowers and it is impossible to place them in the room where the guests are gathered, it is customary to collect all the bouquets in one room, be sure to arrange them in the water and give an appropriate explanation to each guest, taking flowers from him. A small bouquet should be placed directly on the table, but always in such a way that it does not block people's faces and does not interfere with communication.
