Video: Christmas Flower Arrangements

Famous Dutch designers claim that traditional Christmas balls and trees are a thing of the past. The main design trend this winter is New Year's flower arrangements.
The designers of the Holland Flower Bureau, one of the main world authorities in design and floristry, advise this winter to decorate the apartment and the New Year's table with flower arrangements.
Renowned master florist Geri Lune recommends choosing green and white flowers for winter compositions, creating an incredibly harmonious, fabulous atmosphere of a snow-covered forest. The most fashionable plants of the season are flowers with white buds, as if emerging from a fairy tale about the Snow Queen: chrysanthemums, freesias, calla lilies.

In order for the flowers to harmoniously fit into the interior, you can move away from traditional bouquets and make them part of table setting, furniture design, andt decoration. Stylists recommend combining "winter" flowers with decorative elements of glass, porcelain, lace and pastel-colored silk ribbons. And professional florists manage to create complex compositions out of flowers that imitate fir trees and Christmas wreaths.

Place a wide candle on a sturdy stand and wrap with wire. Shape the wire to the desired shape.
- Arrange candles, seashells, tree decorations, candy and pine cones around.
- Carefully wrap the resulting frame with a garland of the required length, spruce branches and pre-prepared flowers with long stems.
- Secure the composition with pins.
- Place the resulting piece in the center of the New Year's table or on the mantelpiece and invite your guests!
