Klaus Wagener needs no introduction, his name is known to florists all over the world. The only German florist who managed to win the World Championship (1985, at the age of 28), today he is a trendsetter in floral fashion, forms seasonal trends and fashionable color palette.
His work is distinguished by the wide use of natural materials in floral decoration - snags, branches, cones, nuts, berries, tree bark. Much of this he finds in the woods next to his workshop in the German town of Minsten. He also owns an exquisite flower shop, inherited from his parents, to whom he owes his love of floral art. "I love flowers and plants in their variety, they provide me with almost unlimited design possibilities …".
It is impossible to name a single style to which the master is most committed. His ideas always correspond to the spirit of the times, which is why they have such a great influence on the creativity of florists of all continents. The constantly changing lifestyle of people gives rise to new themes of work and makes them look for an individual approach to each person for whom the master works.

Klaus leads a very active life, constantly giving seminars, master classes, participates in exhibitions, writes books on floristry. The Profil Floral magazine for floristry professionals he created in 1994 quickly became an elite publication and is published today not only in Germany, but also in several other countries of the world, including the USA. Since 1999, a second magazine has appeared for the general public, with the eloquent name "BLOOM's World". It is also published in Russian.
Klaus Wagener is not only a talented master florist, but also a marketer. He started a florist marketing services firm. And the application of economic knowledge to his own business made him even more successful.
But back to the art of Klaus Wagener. Its Christmas floristry is imbued with closeness to nature and creates an atmosphere of a cozy winter holiday, filled with the warmth of candles, the aromas of cinnamon and banyan tree, and the subdued glitter of New Year's decorations.
This is the splendor of antiquity, the Baroque era and the romantic period of history. Traditional round wreaths are transformed and their opulence is enhanced by shimmering materials. These are candles combined with natural materials in a composition of muted natural tones. The color trend is not only the light tones of ice and snow, but also the bright colors of the children's party - dark green, red, turquoise.

This is handicraft, a variety of warm natural materials. Attention to textures and structure of materials, which provide a great backdrop for flowers and provide incredible scope for creativity in compositions of all sizes - from tabletop to large wall installations.
Finally, some ideas for New Year's patio area. Spruce, coniferous bonsai in baskets, supplemented somewhere with cereals, somewhere with cones, somewhere with man-made art objects made from natural materials. On the one hand - an imitation of natural landscapes, on the other - a semblance of desktop Christmas compositions.
