Decorating large spaces for Christmas is perhaps the most difficult task. It seems like it requires an abundance of jewelry. But we want to show you an example of a modern, almost minimalist Christmas design. It was carried out by teachers and students of the PrimaVera floral school in one of the Italian hotels.

Just as natural materials prevail in the design of the building itself - stone, unfinished brick, wood, so natural components dominate in the floral design, which very discreetly complement them. All decor is hand made.

Balconies with wrought iron railings are organically combined with Christmas wreaths, but they do not look quite traditional. Large frames are woven of lianas and intertwined with gold and red beads. Artificial poinsettia flowers serve as accents, they are surrounded by medium-sized gold and red Christmas balls. Together, decorative elements only create a sense of color, but do not dominate the naturalness of the vines. Perfect balance.

In continuation of the theme, a Christmas tree panel is installed on the landing near the wall. Woven from flexible ivy stems, it has soft contours. Christmas decorations are created of plaster using volumetric molds. They depict traditional Christmas themes: an angel, a deer, a holly twig, a heart, painted in semitones in pale beige, golden, pearl pink.

The stair railings nearby are decorated with a graceful branch with pine cones hanging from it and plaster toys - Christmas trees, bows, socks and other little things. All items on top are slightly powdered with "snow".

The wooden beams under the ceiling are accentuated with pine cones to match the wood, and only small plaster icicles make them stand out.

A truly Italian touch - three unusual candlesticks on the windowsill. Wine bottles are decorated with brown paraffin, as if filled with sealing wax, on which seals in the form of angel wings, ancient ornament, etc. are applied. They are crowned with red candles. You can imagine how warm and mysterious they will look outside when it's not Christmas weather around …
